This Bible has helped me in my studies. It has words to remember, Bible verses to learn, life in bible times, and did you know. There are also sections called lets live it , book introductions, if you want to know, some small facts, and index activities. It has some really good things like the wisdom diary, write a poem dictionary, concordance. When you read this Bible you may not know what a word means, but you can look it up in the dictionary in this Bible. I would get one for your Children. This is for Children ages 9-12 it is really good it has made me want to study more of the Bible.

Little Minnie And Other Stories

Little Minnie

She stood in the cemetery beside a long green grave. She had a bunch of wild flowers in her fat brown hand.
''I' m going to give them to papa," She said with a bright smile to Uncle John who went over to talk with her. ''My papa has gone to heaven, you know; but he likes to have me bring him flowers. He used to kiss me for them, always , but he can't now, 'cause he is so busy helping the angels, but he is keeping all the kisses, and when a nice summer day comes I am going after them."
"Do you now the way?" Uncle John asked her.
"Oh, no; but the angel does. Jesus keeps angels all ready to come down here, and when he wants any little girl, he calls an angel and says, 'You go get that little girl for me, and bring her up here, I have got something for her.' Papa went a good while ago, and sometimes Mamma and I get most tired of waiting. I asked Mamma this morning if she thought he had forgotten us, because he had so many children; but she said:
"Oh no indeed! God had promised that he never would forget anybody; and he won't, you know, 'cause he never tells a lie. Do you know God?"
"Yes my darling, I know him very well."
"Then you don't think he'll ever go and forget, like folks do sometimes?"
"There isn't a bit of danger,'' Uncle John said, and she gave a happy little sigh.
''Everybody says so that knows him," she said. "Once I asked a man, and he said he didn't know anything about it; but everybody who knows God thinks just the same thing, and mamma thinks so; she says she is sure of it; so I know it most be."

JESUS LAID IN A MANGER

Is this the King of glory? This is He. And is this ''Child Wonderful'' that Abel and Noah and Abraham and Moses and Isaiah waited for? This is He. A great poor King and the Son of God, laid in a manger,- is He so poor Very poor for our sake, to save us and to make us rich. Where is the manger? in Bethlehem. Who is the mother? Mary , the blessed Virgin. The Heavenly Father smiles for joy on his son in that manger. He sent his son. The son wished to come to us. Was ever such a love as the love of God? He gives us his only-begotten son! Other King's sons are born in palaces. This son of the Most High King lies on straw where the sheep are bleating. He has now Crown now, this little King. But he will have a crown, when He has saved His people from their sins.
Joseph is to be like a father for the little Child. And Joseph became the husband of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Here is the happiest family in all the world : Mary, Joseph, ----and Jesus.

The Lord is my Shepherd Song

Verse 1.

THE LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. The Heavens declare the glory of GOD; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.

Verse 2

Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for though art with me thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head oil; my cup runneth over.

Honey Nut-Raisin Chex Mix Recipe

6 cups of Honey Nut Chex cereal
1 cup of cinnamon-raisin bagel chips, broken into bite-size pieces
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons of packed brown sugar
1 package [3 oz] cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 cup of raisins

Directions
1. Put in large microwavable bowl, mix cereal and bagel chips; set aside

2. In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter uncovered on High 30 seconds or
until melted. Add brown sugar , cream cheese and cinnamon. Microwave uncovered on High 1
minute 30 seconds, stir every 30 seconds, until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla.
Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.

3 Microwave uncovered on High 5 minutes, stirring every minute. Stir in raisins. Microwave 1
minute longer. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in tightly covered container.
