Ezra Report

          Ezra was written around 536 B.C.
         In the first year of Cyrus King of Persia the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia and He proclaimed throughout all his kingdom, saying that the Lord had told Him to build Him a temple at Jerusalem which was in Judah and the chief of the fathers of Judah, and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites with all them whom God had raised up to build the house of the LORD in Jerusalem.
        These were the children which the king of Babylon had carried away to Jerusalem.
         When the seventh month came the people gathered themselves together as one at Jerusalem and Jeshua the son of Jozadek and his brethren to offer burnt offerings unto the LORD and had continual burnt offerings unto the LORD.
        Then they rose up and begun to build the house, and then Tatnai the governer and his companions and asked them saying who hath commanded you to build this house and to make up this wall, and the jews sent them an answer by letter then Tatnai and his companions sent a letter unto king Cyrus of Persia.
       The main subjects of Ezra are the return of the Jews from Babylon to Jerusalem, The rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, and introducing of Social and Religous reforms.
       Ezra is the Author of several Psalms, and according to ancient tradition 1st and 2nd Choronicles but this can't be proven.
       Ezra was reputated to be the organizer of the Jewish Synagogue, and assembled most of the books of the old Testament.

Live for Something

Live for something; be not idle-
Look about thee for employ;
Sit not down to useless dreaming-
Labour is the sweetest joy.
Folded hands are ever weary,
Selfish hearts are never gay,
Life for thee has many duties-
Live for something, while you may.

Scatter blesseings in thy pathway!
Gentile words and cheering smiles
Better are then Gold and Silver,
With their grief-dispelling wiles.
As the pleasent sunshine falleth
Ever on the grateful earth,
So let sympathy and kindness
Gladden well the darkened hearth.

Honour Your Parents

Hello, here is a really good Poem

To thy father and thy mother
Honour, Love, and reverence pay;
This command, before all other,
Must a Christian child obey.

Help me, Lord, in this sweet duty;
Guide me in Thy steps divine;
Show me all the joy and beauty
Of obedience such as thine.

Teach me how to please and gladden
Those who toil and care for me;
Many a grief their heart must sadden,
Let me still their comfort be.

I hope this helps ya'll.
Bye.
